Fresh and hot updates

Last December 4, 2007 was my mom's birthday and it is also the scheduled check up and vaccination of my unico hijo. My mom accompanied me and my baby to the hospital. The pedia that usually takes care of him wasn't there she's on a convention in the US for 2 weeks but she has a reliever, Dra Quintos. Stats for my baby was overwhelming for me he is already 5kg and is 57cm long according to the doctor he is just 1kg behind the normal baby considering he is a preemie. He was given a shot 6-1 shot which they called infantrix. That night he had a slight fever.. I stayed half-awake until d fever subsides.Morning of December 5 the doctor advised to let him drink tempra if the fever doesn't go down. Since his temperature is still 37.5 I've decided to let him drink Tempra for infant,it helped him alot. I'm glad he is all well now. Here are some photos taken after that day (december 6):

1st attempt to turn over

Today is the first day my son attempted to turn over, I wanted to show the video but its taking me a long time to upload it i gues because the video is too big anyways he really is trying his best to turn over however he can't he just goes sideways and his head was left behind hehehehe. He tried and tried until he cried because of frustration hehehehe

Fun with Corbin

My baby is is already 5 months and 14days old. It's been sometime since I last posted a blog here. It's fun being with corby at 5 months old, I can now talk to him and he looks directly at me. He's already mumbling words and squealing if he is irritated. He smiles and laughs a lot. He is bigger now and is so much fun to be with because he is much more responsive, if I talk to him, he answers back with all those mumbling words of a baby talking. Aside from that, he plays with his hand and he always licks and eat them, he loves it more than he loves his pacifier =) Im so glad that the Lord is always taking care of him and keeping him safe all the time. He is as healthy as ever! Indeed God is good all the time.

Passport pictures

It's corby's first time to apply for a passport which was held in Pasig Sports complex. There are alot of people there but luckily senior citizens and minors go first but since there are still alot of minors applying we waited for about an hour before we finished. Before that we went to kodak in Pasig to have his photo taken unfortunately the background now for a machine readable passport is royal blue,so we had another take.
I was very excited to claim his passport I was early in the city hall last oct 31 which is the release date for the passport. However my sons photo was rejected they said that the machine could not accept it because the photo is blurred and the polo should be dark in color. Friday November 2 we went to megamall and went to great image to have the third phot take it cost 220, it turned out great, I will be needing to submit the photos in DFA already I pray to God that this time the phot will be accepted its hard for a baby to go back and forth from a photo studio.. too much hassle.

4th month birthday and 1st visit to optha

My son needs to go to an opthalmologist to check if he has ROP a disease of the eye that occurs mostly to the premature babies weighing 1500grams below.. Its his 4th month birthday today as well. Another blessing for my baby because he was tested negative of ROP, his eyes was not fully developed yet but he has no ROP. here are some photos of our trip to the Opthalmologist

Update about corby

I haven't been writing on both blogs for some time.. Corby is already 4 months tomorrow. So far he is more responsive when we talk to him although he still loves talking to our red calendar everytime it moves ( because it is hanging on the wall) he smiles and is so fond of that red calendar, he also love looking at the white curtains in our bedroom everytime it moves due to the air from the electricfan. He drinks 4 oz of milk now every 3 hours. These are some latest pictures of my baby:

what's up baby?

Corby changes milk from prenan to enfalac A+ but it doesn't suits him so we change it to NAN1 I just hope and pray my baby would grow more and gain more weight gradually but I thank God because eventhough he's small and thin he is always healthy and never gets sick. Thanks be to God. He is already 3 months and 12days so far he is no longer irritable and fretful and can sleep long hours. He can see some colors like red black and white however he still cannot look at the person talking to him. He drinks 2 oz of milk sometimes 3 oz. He is a very good baby boy.

1st day @ d mall 2nd check up

Its my baby's second check up, he is now 5.28lbs and is 45cm long
Since we're gonna meet a friend of my husband to get the camera he bought for corby, we went to the mall and its my little angel's first day to visit the mall.

Expected date of delivery

Today is the day I am expecting my baby to be born, but I guess the Lord's plan is different that is why He gave us James Corbin more than 2 months earlier. But I'm still thankful about the things that happened to us, although its really tough and difficult but I guess it made us stronger and our bond as a family is tighter now. I'd like to show some photos of my baby corbin outside the nicu:

1st check up

It was my baby's first check up after a week of being discharged from the hospital. He gained 365grams in weight and 5cm in height. His vitals are ok and no illness except for his Inguinal Hernia, I pray to the Lord that he will heal my son's hernia I don't want him to experience another suffering inside the hospital.
