Corby turned 3!

My son turned 3 years old yesterday. June 9, 2010. I was on leave eventhough i dont have enough leaves left for christmas vacation. We went out for a swim and kiddie place. He enjoyed the slides in the pool and after that we went to explorer kids, he's now a member, he's got his very first ID. He enjoyed an hour of playing around the activity center together with the other kids. After that we went home and he was so tired. Thank you Lord for another fruitful year you've given. He can sing ABC, twinkle twinke and can count 1-20 although the words are not that clear. His favorite word is "ayaw" every time we ask him to eat, or do something he doesn't want he would say "ayaw". He can call us daddy and mima/mommy and calls himself bobin (corbin). We are so proud of him. Truly God is really good.

I love you!! I know my son is delayed in terms of his growth and development. The pedia already informed me that way back. It is because during the time I was having pre eclampsia, the baby inside me is having a hard time to get enough oxygen due to the shoot up of my blood pressure. In effect the baby doesn't grow up much physically and his development caused delays. Still Im thankful that he is always healthy and active, thank God. He lacks .05cm for an average turning 3 yrs old kid and he is underweight, at least 3kgs. He loves to drink milk much more than eating. He drinks lots and lotsa milk but never grew fat. I guess its in the genes too.. me and my hubby where walking sticks when we were kids. I'm feeling kinda sensitive to comments about him, being small and skinny =( that is why sometimes when they invite us i dont want to let him come with us unless its my closest closest friends or relatives. As a mother I always get hurt when they say negative things about my adorable son. Then I realize they don't know his story, his miraculous story from the verge of 25-30% chance of survival to an almost 3 year-old active kid lurking in our flat. Whew! I still thank God, no matter what they say I have the cutest most lovable son who is active and so much healthier that other kids around. I hope and pray that he can cope up with his motor skills and development soon..Lord please.. accelerate his improvements!! Thanks !!

Its my son's birthday. He is turning three. I cant believe it.. He is abit small for his age and he's abit delayed on his development. But he is smart and very caring and sweet baby.. oh he's not a baby anymore.. a toddler. Im happy that God gave him to us. Thank God for another year full of surprises for my loving son. I'll post pics soon. Being a working mom is hard. Cant maintain my blog regularly unlike those times that I am still bum.. hehehe peace out!
