What's up???

It has been awhile.. I've been very busy being a part time IT Service Support and full time mom. I've never had a chance to blog about my baby's update. So far I thank the Lord God for all the blessings that He has given my baby. He is so strong and healthy now and very cheerful.
I don't have any much more I could say but I can show pictures of him. check out his cute pictures

1st birthday of Corby

We have celebrated my son's 1st birthday at Mcdonalds Santolan Pasig last June 8, he was born June 9 FYI. We went back to the Philippines since all our relatives are there and they would of course wanted to have the party held in PH. It was a fun activity although I know my son wouldn't appreciate it that much I guess he did enjoyed, he did not cry but kept on observing the people and kids partying with him. He was not even afraid of the kid mcdo mascot. Check out the photos.

9th month and 10th month update

I haven't have time updating my son's blog. It's hard for me since I am a full time mom. I always makes it a point that I am spending time with my baby. As for the updates for 9th and 10th month, 9th month my son fall off the bed, I cried so much because I felt that I am a very bad mom. I left him sleeping on the bed and I've decided to start cooking dinner but then I heard a loud cry and I found my son at the side of the bed on the floor, crying his heart out. I called my husband but I cannot contact him so I texted him instead. I called my buddy and informed her of what happened and she gave me tips to do. I thank God because when I brought him to the doctor the day after the fall, the doctor found nothing was wrong. He started sitting during this month too but not on his own yet.

On the 10th month my son is more active and is sitting on his own now, he can mumble words. Madaldal na talga sya. I'm enjoying every moment spent with him. It's a good thing my dad came over end of march to assist me with taking care of my son while I do the household chores.

8th month birthday celebration

Its the first time that my son celebrated his month birthday in Singapore.. We had pansit and a few slices of cake..whole cake in Singapore is expensive. My son was asleep the time we ate but he did enjoyed strolling at the mall. Happy Birthday 8th month Birthday James Corbin

First time sickness

Jan 26, 2008 is a day I would never forget in the life of Corbin. This is the first time he got sick, he catched cold I don't know how and why since nobody in the house has colds. I stayed up half awake to check on my baby since he is uncomfortable and keeps on waking up from time to time. I wish it would be gone before we leave for singapore.

First semi-solid food intake

We went to the pedia of Corby yesterday for his 2nd dose of vaccination (6-in-1 infantrix). The doctor said my baby could now start to eat semi solid food like cerelac and gerber stage 1. We went to almost 3 grocery and drugstor but there is no stage one gerber so we decided to try stage 1 cerelac. He liked it at first but after three taste he does not want it anymore hehehe here are some pictures:

7th month birthday January 9, 2007

It would be the last time corby will be celebrating his monthly birthday in the Philippines. God willing we are to leave Feb 2 for Singapore to join Corby's dad. It's also his dad's bday that is why he wanted us to be there.. Here are some photos of Corby on his 7th month birthday.

UPDATES.. UPDATES AND MORE

It has been a very busy month for me that I haven't had a chance to take note and documents that events that has happened to us.... December. Arrival of Corby's father, his baptism, his first Christmas and New Year and his 7th month birthday. I have been very busy that I've had no time to update my son's blog. December 21, 2007 was the day we were all waiting for for the first time his father will have a chance to carry and cuddle him. We went to the airport patiently travelling via C5 but when we reached parañaque, boom.. heavy traffic, I guess since its holiday and a lot of OFWs are coming home for the holidays. Corby enjoys travelling but just like a mature individual he hates traffic, he loves to travel while look out of the window the cars moving, the billboards, lights and establishment that is why if the car stopped he gets irritated eventhough he's not the one driving hehehe. At long last we reached the airport, hi dad was already waiting, upon seeing us his lips turned into a wide grin since corby was in the passenger seat carried by mommy cora.

At first he was hesitant to even look and be carried by his father.. he was looking at me with those puppy-looking-puss-in-boots eyes hehehe but he has no choice because his father missed him so much and its the first time that his dad saw him in person outside the incubator. This is also the first time he's get a chance to recognize his dad's face. We went home and after some time he was at ease and is already playing with his father..

BAPTISM
December 22, 2007 his baptism, at long last the planned baptism is already here. We wake up early since we need to be at Edsa Shrine chapel at 10:30. We arrived around 11am already and there are alot of people already since there are other 2 babies candidate for baptism as well. The event started on time but most of the ninangs are late as we've expected. It has humid hot inside that is why corby was really not feeling good wearing his traje for his baptism. The event went well. The reception was held at Cabalen. Everyone seems to be enjoying while me, my husband and my baby are busy entertaining the guests. We were all glad the event went well even if we did not enjoy the buffet that much hehehe..

December 24, we went to Kuya Fred one of the ninongs who wasnt able to attend because of jet lag coming from Australia. The first christmas eve, and my birthday we celebrate a simple dinner with me and my family. We spent it with my mom. It was a wonderful Christams since this is the first time we're spending it together. The best gift we have is our wonderful baby boy.

December 25, his first christmas with us and the first time we've had our family picture taken at mom cora's residence near the christmas tree. That night daddy nick brought us to marikina we are to spend new year with the Ordoña's. We went there, Corby was quietly observing the view from the window of the car however when we are just a few minutes away from his lola's house he had tantrum and cried until we reached Jun's house. We were welcomed by my inlaws and Corby's cousins. Since he was tired upon reaching the bedroom he stopped crying and started to feel sleepy we stayed inside the room until he slept.

Dec 27 sudden change of events since my mother in law was hospitalized due to high fever on the 28 of december morning, we went back to Pasig since everyone is busy due to my nanay's hospitalization

Dec 31 first time as a family to wait for the coming of 2008. We spent it quietly with prayers since Corby can't be exposed to smoke from the fireworks its gonna be bad for his lungs.

Jan 1 first day of the year, Corby's dad wen to Marikina to spent the first day of new year with his family back there. It was me and my lil boy who spent the night with my De Leon clan to eat and chit chat. It was held at mom cora's residence. Corby wore the gift given by his ninang rocel

Jan 2 we went to Marikina again to greet lolo and lola happy new year. We went there around 2pm and was picked up by daddy nick around 10pm. We've had our 1st family picture for 2008.

Jan 3 his father left for Singapore again.. its sad but we only have to part for a month since we will be there on february.
